Band

The Tupelo High School Band is one of Mississippi's premier band programs, serving more than 180 student musicians in grades 9–12. Committed to excellence in performance, leadership, and character, the program offers outstanding opportunities through marching band, concert bands, jazz band, winter guard, indoor percussion, and indoor marching ensembles.

The Tupelo High School Band is a consistent recipient of Superior ratings and the prestigious MHSAA Sweepstakes Award, with students earning selection to numerous state and regional honor bands each year. The program has also earned Grand Champion honors at regional marching competitions and been successful on the indoor stage through WGI performances for both percussion and color guard. 

More than performances, the Tupelo High School Band is a community where students develop confidence, discipline, teamwork, and lifelong friendships while pursuing musical excellence. Our mission is to inspire every student to achieve their highest potential and proudly represent Tupelo with integrity, tradition, and excellence.
