Welcome to the THS Band website -- the online home of the long blue line...

This website will be your one-stop-shop for all things related to band at Tupelo. Students can find sheet music and practice tools. Parents can view the band calendar, see travel itineraries, and get involved with the Tupelo Band Booster Association. And everyone can celebrate the history and accomplishments of one of the most storied band programs in Mississippi!

Tupelo High School Theatre Department was founded in 1986 by THS Theatre teacher Debby Gibbs, but theatre at THS was around for many years before that under the guidance of Speech teacher and director, Ruth Liveakos.  Throughout the years, THS Theatre Department has continued to maintain the Tupelo High School ideals of excellence and interest in Theatre.   THS Theatre is housed in the Small Auditorium of D building on the THS campus. Tupelo High School Choral Department is home to the THS Madrigals, Vocal Jazz, Varsity and Bel Canto choirs and offers studio voice instruction in voice classes.

Tupelo High School is also home to two showchoirs, Soundwave and Synergy. Both are comprised of 9th-12th grade singer dancers. These groups compete statewide, regionally, and nationally.

 

 

 

Tupelo Public Schools celebrate Visual Arts and encourage even our youngest students to begin developing their creativity. Kindergarten through 12th grade students have access to full time Visual Art teachers at each school site across our district. Teachers and students work together to create unique visual art learning experiences. Each spring, Tupelo Public School art teachers exhibit and share their students' work with local partners such as Gumtree Museum and the Shared Treasures exhibit.
