I was born in Chicago, Illinois, on July 2, 1964. My family moved to Oxford, MS in 1977 where I attended Oxford High School. I attended the University of Mississippi and graduated in 1985 with a double major in Banking & Finance and Managerial Finance. Upon graduation, I joined our family business, Hudson Management Corporation dba McDonald's. In 1998, I became a McDonald's Owner/Operator and in 2007 became the President of Hudson Management which now operates seven restaurants in Tupelo, Saltillo, New Albany and Pontotoc. I have been married to Tracy Washington Hudson since 1989 and moved to Tupelo in 1992. We have four children, Hannah (senior at THS), Larkin (Freshman at THS), Mary Grace (7th grade at TMS) and Caroline (3rd grade at Rankin). I am currently Chairman of the Board for Boys and Girls Clubs of North Mississippi. I also serve as Board Chairman of Parkgate Pregnancy Clinic. I serve as President of the North MS McDonald's Advertising Co-op. I participate in numerous volunteer efforts at the schools where my children attend and in the past, served on the Joyner Elementary Long Range Planning Committee. Over the past 11 years, McDonald's has partnered with our area schools in fundraising efforts by donating 100% of proceeds from meals cooked at school wide events. In 2009, my wife and I were honored to receive the AEE J.C. Whitehead Award as corporate education advocates. I am a member of St. James Catholic Church where I served as a member of the Pastoral Council. My wife Tracy and I also teach the confirmation class. The prayer I often pray is "Lord lead me. I am willing to do the work."
