Train up a child in the way he should go. . .”We provide children appropriate, meaningful instruction at Pierce Street Elementary.Alongside our parents, we nurture the whole child while challenging our students towards continuous improvement.Additionally, Pierce Street is deemed a Whole School through the Mississippi Arts Commission.Our students enjoy arts-integrated lessons that are designed to enhance cultural awareness and to develop critical thinking skills.Student artwork is displayed for all to see throughout the halls of the school that demonstrate both mastery and creativity.

Pierce Street Elementary School will serve our community by challenging each student to attain an achievement level on or above grade level, by meeting benchmarks in core academic subjects, and by providing access to a quality education in a safe environment that requires accountability from all students and employees.
