Paul Moton, Principal

Welcome to Milam Elementary School. I am elated to be the principal of this school as we welcome you to the 2020-21 academic year. As principal, I look forward to the opportunity to work with you and your child to provide an outstanding educational experience. As you well know, Milam Elementary has a reputation of excellence, and I am excited to be a part of a school culture that focuses on student learning, a commitment to high expectations, innovation and collaboration. It is my intent to continue moving Milam Elementary forward with these important practices.

We educate students of varying abilities and backgrounds, and believe all students can learn and reach high levels of achievement. Therefore, we ask that you feel free to call or come to our school for a visit so that you can see for yourself the genuine care that our teachers and staff have for each and every student. Finally, I would like you to know that my door is always open, and I welcome your suggestions.

As we prepare for this academic year and the uncertainties with COVID-19, our goal is to provide as normal of a learning experience as possible, while also knowing many will choose our Distance Learning option. Our staff has worked hard preparing an outline as we move forward together to ensure all students reach their potential, and I ask you to take a second to read this detailed Milam outline
