Afterschool Clubs

Coach Bo Boatner sponsors the Animal Club with support from several other teachers. Students are introduced to a variety of animals including service dogs, therapy dogs, and family pets. The club meets every other Tuesday afternoon after school.

Art Club is sponsored by Mrs. Kit Stafford. Students were overwhelmingly interested in this creative outlet which led to Mrs. Stafford splitting the club into grade level clubs. The club meetings are held weekly at 7:30.

S.T.E.M. Club is sponsored by Mrs. Rachel Britton. This club targets 3rd graders to expand their hand on knowledge of topics in science involving technology, engineering, and math.

Newspaper Club is sponsored by Mrs. Kit Stafford. Students meet weekly at 7:30 and publish a newspaper monthly.

Noteworthy is sponsored by Mr. Taylor Sparks and Mrs. Sally Amos. Students audition for membership into this singing club. Students meet weekly at 7:30 and perform for various audiences throughout the year.

Jr. Beta Club is sponsored by Mrs. Sally Amos, Mrs. Maddie West, and Mrs. Tosha Armstrong. According to the National Junior Beta Club website, "Its purpose is to promote the ideals of academic achievement, character, leadership and service among elementary and secondary school students." This club is an invitation only club based on academic achievement.

Animation Club is sponsored by Mrs. Kit Stafford. Students meet weekly in the morning and learn techniques for creating and animating cartoons.

Garden Club is sponsored by Mrs. Kathy Palmer. This is a spring club and will have a membership drive during the second semester. The Tupelo Garden Club sponsors this club with volunteers and materials.

Rockin' Rollercoaster Club will be sponsored by Mrs. Rachel Britton. This is an advanced club and will start in the spring with members from last year's S.T.E.M. club.
