Dear ECEC Families,
The staff and I are so excited about the upcoming school year! Below you will find information to help your child be successful during their pre-kindergarten year. We believe families are our partners in each child’s educational success and we are grateful to be part of your child’s journey!
School Supplies:
A backpack that is big enough for a folder or binder; a lunch box if your child is not eating from the cafeteria; a nap mat; a seasonal change of clothing to keep at school in case of an accident. All personal items (backpack, nap mat, etc.) will be placed in your child’s cubby. We suggest labeling all personal items with your child’s name.
School Schedule:
Students may be dropped off between 7:15-7:40 am each day. After 7:40 am, your child is tardy and you must bring him/her in the building. Dismissal is at 2:25 pm daily. Please see the arrival and dismissal attachment in this section for further information. Please call the office by 2:00 pm if your child has a transportation
change. We do not allow checkouts after 2:15 pm.
Allergy Information:
ECEC is a peanut/nut free school. Please help us by adhering to the following food allergy safety guidelines: please do not send any food items to be eaten as snacks with ingredient labels indicating they contain peanuts or nuts; please do not send any food items with ingredient labels indicating they were manufactured in a
factory that processes nuts. Examples include Hershey’s plain chocolates, some jelly beans, etc.
Contact Information:
If your contact information ever changes (address, phone number, etc.) please update it with the school. We need to be able to get in touch with you in case of an emergency.
Communication:
Communication with your child’s teacher is so important. If there is anything happening outside of school that
could possibly affect your child during their day at school, please let us know. You are our partner in your child’s success.
