Excellence begins with exploring
possibilities towards a successful future. As a 9th grader, students will enroll in the Freshman Academy, where they will explore colleges and careers through the 9th Grade Exploring Careers (Keystone) course of study. Each 9th Grader will begin their Individualized Student Plan for
success. As a Keystone student, students will explore Career Pathways, colleges and Universities in Mississippi, while learning about the Pathways that are available to them at Tupelo High School and the Tupelo Career-Technical Center. As a 9th Grader,
students will choose their learning pathway through the help of Major Clarity, a student interest database that helps ensure that every student's education leads to a
successful college and/or career
outcome-whether through a two or four-year degree or entering the workforce. The Freshman Academy is where documenting for their portfolio and community service
will begin, and will be an asset to them throughout their high school , college and/or career.
