Jason Miller
Athletics Director

Jason Miller is in his fifth year as Athletics Director at Tupelo and joined the district very familiar with the Golden Wave family.

A 1997 THS graduate, he lettered in both football and baseball, while coaching both sports from 2005-14.

Prior to returning to his roots, he spent the previous seven years at DeSoto Central High School and served as the athletics director in 2019-20. From 2014-19, he was the associate head baseball coach.

Miller earned both his undergraduate and graduate degrees from Delta State, where he played baseball.

He was on the 2000 squad that advanced to the College World Series, placing third.

In his first year back at Tupelo, 17 teams advanced to the postseason, with the boys golf team claiming the 2021 Class 6A crown.

He also oversees all activities outside of sports as well. Combined, his 960 students posted a 3.455 GPA.

He and wife, Shelley, have two sons, Davis (17) and Drew (13), and a daughter, Dylan (15).
