Tupelo Middle School is located in the heart of Tupelo, MS, and serves as the only school for seventh and eighth grade students in the Tupelo Public School District. Educational attainment, academic success, and community involvement are important to students, parents, and the school district.

Cockrell's Class builds the World
March 12, 2010 Students in Mrs. Cockrell's 8th grade pre-algebra classes built scale models for 13 of the world's most famous buildings. The activity helped them explore the nets and point of view of 3-dimensional objects in order to calculate volume and surface area and scale factor for each.
Anchors Away for Gusmus's Pre-AP Math Students!!
March 12, 2010 March 3rd, students headed to the Gulf Coast for a 3 day field trip where they visited the NDBC center and got to see how the buoys are tested, assembled, and deployed. From NDBC students visited the Stennis Museum and watched a Cryogenics demonstration. From there it was off to the Gulf Coast Research Lab were they collected and identified specimens .
Study of Medieval Japan
