The Tupelo Public School District places value and emphasis on the earliest stages of literacy development by providing a high quality Pre-Kindergarten program funded by Title I. The mission of the Early Childhood Education Center is to uphold the Tupelo Public School District mission statement by developing a risk-free and nurturing environment that provides children with a maximum opportunity to learn by providing a developmentally appropriate setting. In an effort to provide children with this environment, our overall goal is to provide an atmosphere of respect where children and adults demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and their properties.

Early Childhood Education Center Food Drive

THS Anchor Club and Tupelo Pilot Club Provide Helmets to TPSD Early Childhood Center
January 13, 2010 The Pilot Club of Tupelo and the Tupelo High School Anchor Club presented 45 helmets to the Early Childhood Development Center students in Amanda Young's class. The Pilot Club and the Anchor Club both promote brainminder programs that utilize helmets for brain safety when young people ride their bikes, scooters, and skateboard. Protecting your brain for a better life is so important in today's fast paced world. |
