Veterans Day
On November 12th, in observance of Veterans Day, the TMS History Department asked several veterans from the community to speak to their classes about the importance of Veterans Day. Each history class, both 7th and 8th, was treated to one or more veteran speaking about his experiences in the military. In addition, the veterans were served lunch at TMS. Additionally, each student had the opportunity to honor a veteran on Monday. Students brought in photographs of family and friends who were veterans. The photographs were made into buttons that were worn on Veterans Day.
