Welcome to Thomas Street Elementary School! We are committed to providing our students with the opportunities to make "a world of difference." From August through May, our building is action packed! We stress academic excellence, and students are recognized for "doing the best they can do!" Of course, student success is dependent upon the opportunities and challenges that the school provides. Students have different needs and learning styles, and we realize and embrace our responsibility for supporting students along the road to academic and social achievement.
How do you like our new look? We have new windows, doors, and paint!! Blinds for the windows will be installed around the end of August. The construction on the addition is moving right along!! We are so proud of our building!! The playground equipment will be installed soon!!!
This year we will have a strong focus on healthy living! We will learn to make good food choices...that means at breakfast, lunch, dinner, and snacks. We are going to "get on the move!" Physical activity is essential for healthy bodies! Will you please help us as we all learn and use good health habits?
Thomas Street PTO is absolutely the BEST!!! Thanks so much for the brunch at the beginning of school. It was awesome!!! We really appreciate all of the time you give to help make Thomas Street the best!!
