We are working hard to achieve our class goals for AR/RC reading. We have placed in our grade's top three teams for several weeks! Our team is known as "The Best of the West," and we aspire to read a total of 1200 points this school year. 10 of our students met the first goal of 15 points, scoring 70% or higher. They will have an extra recess and an ice cream treat from 2:00 until 2:40 on the 17th of October. Congratulations! Please encourage your child to read on a daily basis at home. This is an excellent way to build reading fluency. Hopefully personal reading on a daily basis will also create a habit of mind that will empower them to be lifelong learners!Mastery of multiplication facts is absolutely crucial. All students will be tested on 0s through12s until they display mastery. PLEASE stress the important of their doing well on these all-important facts! Are you aware that Milam Ripples Have Heart?
