In Challenge the students will be exposed to various learning styles. We will incorporate higher order thinking skills in our daily activities. Students will work independently and within groups to solve real world problems through multi-step processes. Predictions will be made prior to conducting science experiements as well as reflection will be documented through science journals. Communication skills will be enhanced through writing multiple forms, speaking, and listening. Units will allow students to explore material through research and critical thinking. In Challenge we will build upon existing knowledge to meet the needs of gifted children.
