We love rockin' and rollin' in music class at Lawhon! After all, the King of Rocking Roll did
attend our school!
Students have an exciting time exploring the elements of music, once a week in our general music
classes. Those basic music elements include rhythm, dynamics, tempo, pitch, texture, and tone
colorand are each explored through the use of rhythm and Orff instruments, listening activities,
and movement.
Each grade level also participates in an annual program, which gives the students a chance to show off
their talents and to improve stage and performance skills. We even have a 3rd grade chorus, "One Voice,"
which travels through the community promoting our awesome school, through song and dance!
