

As a result of the talents and implemention of outstanding programs, such as CLUBS and her fun instruction at Rankin, Mrs. Wilson Clay received the L.D. Hancock Award for the 2006-2007 school year. This award recognizes a person the TPSD who exemplies the "giving spirit" as Mr. L.D. Hancock. Mrs. Clay well-deserves this honor.
"Above and beyond the call of duty" ... Mrs.Clay, our PE teacher took the inititative to integrate the arts throughout the TPSD curriculum during a special 30 minute time at the end of each day.CLUBS is an exciting program that involves the entire school. The word CLUBS stands for Creating, Learning, Understanding, Becoming - Superstars! Students are given the opportunity to select their choices of special interest & talents. They choose from activities/clubs such as rhythm band, dance, drama, visual arts, dribbling, fitness, jump rope, computer, the school newspaper, games, cooking and more! This is what fun learning is all about!!
