Our choir, Razzle Dazzle, was asked by the Celebration Village planning committee to provide entertainment for this worthwhile event for the Sanctuary Hospice House. This is the Fifth Annual holiday marketplace to be held for the Sanctuary Hospice House. It featured retail merchants, craftspeople, artists, antique exhibitors and more. The Sanctuary Hospice House seeks to provide compassionate care for individuals who are terminally ill with cancer and have no family to provide care for them during their illness. The money generated from this event will provide operating funds for the new Sanctuary Hospice home that opened in November 2005. Our 2nd and 3rd grade choir members worked extremely hard to prepare special songs from Annie and High School Musical. They also performed the song "Good Friends Always Stick Together" ~ one of their favorites! Rankin is delighted to have had the opportunity to take part in this exciting event and to impress the community with some of its talented performers. Meredith McLaurin, 3rd grade student, says "we had a great time while we were there and everyone was clapping a lot!"
