National Board Certified Educators
Professional educators around the country have been striving for excellence in the classroom. The Tupelo Public School District is fortunate to have the best of the best teaching children on a daily basis.
We are pleased to recognize eight dedicated educators who have recently passed the requirements for National Board Certification. The National Board for Professional Teaching Standards works to strengthen the teaching profession and to improve student learning in America's schools. These educators went through the one-year process that incorporates high and rigorous standards. This brings TPSD's total to 106, and to 151 since the beginning of this national certification process in 1999!
