Principal's Welcome
Welcome to Pierce Street Elementary! Our philosophy demonstrates the belief that the education of our children is a joint effort between home and school. We are here to ensure that students grow academically, emotionally, and physically. Our motto is: Pierce Street Pride, Making a Difference, and our mascot, Lenny the Learning Lion, symbolizes this team spirit. We strive to work as a team in all ways: as teachers, as students, as parents, and as a school. Wearing our team colors each week reminds us of the commitment we have to our school and to each other. Everyone looks forward to our team activities, such as the Fall Festival, the Arts Festival, Family Fun Nights, and many other special events. To support the growth of our team, the Student Council also involves the entire school in many community service projects. On behalf of the faculty and staff, I would like to extend an invitation for your family to visit our school, to meet the faculty, staff, students, and parents, become active members in our PTO, and talk with us so we may work more closely together. We look forward to having many positive and meaningful experiences together.
