The Reading is Fundamental Program (RIF) is the nation's largest and oldest nonprofit children's literacy organization and Pierce Street is very fortunate to be able to participate in it. RIF works to build a nation of readers, one child at a time, by providing them with a free book to read. By the end of the school year, every child at Pierce Street will have received 3 books from RIF to keep and enjoy. We hope parents will read these books with their children and encourage them to read for fun.
