Milam Elementary School Attendance Boundary

Beginning at the point where County Road 1500 and County Road 41 intersect, the Milam Attendance Zone boundary follows the northern most TPSD boundary line to the point on McCullough Boulevard where the northern TPSD boundary crosses McCullough Boulevard. The Milam Attendance Zone boundary follows McCullough Boulevard south to the intersection of North Coley Road and McCullough Boulevard. From the North Coley Road and McCullough Boulevard intersection, the Milam Attendance Zone boundary follows North Coley Road to Jackson Street Extended. At Jackson Street Extended, the Milam boundary follows Jackson Street Extended south to a point just north of Gun Club Road where the boundary turns east and cuts Gun Club Road between house numbers 1300 and 2600 moving east to a point on the Natchez Trace Parkway. The Milam Attendance Zone boundary just described stays north of Ashley Circle, Teakwood Lane and Holly Hill Drive until it reaches the Natchez Trace Parkway. At the Natchez Trace Parkway, the Milam Attendance Zone boundary moves south along the Natchez Trace Parkway to West Jackson Street where the boundary turns east and follows Jackson Street to North Front Street. From North Front Street, the Milam boundary moves south along North Front Street to the intersection of South Front Street and Clark Street. The boundary then follows Clark Street west to South Spring Street and proceeds along South Spring Street to the intersection of East President Street. At East President Street the Milam Attendance Zone boundary moves west along East President Street to Gloster Street where the boundary turns north and follows Gloster Street to Varsity Drive. At the intersection of Varsity Drive and Gloster Street, the Milam boundary follows Varsity Drive west to Lawndale Drive. From the intersection of Varsity Drive and Lawndale Drive, the Milam Attendance Zone boundary moves south along Lawndale Drive to a point just south of the Pierce Street intersection where the boundary turns west. The Milam boundary turns west on Lawndale Drive between house numbers 1000 and 1008. The westward movement of the Milam Attendance Zone boundary stays south of Bryan Drive until the boundary arrives at the point where Bryan Drive and Maynard Drive intersect. From the Bryan Drive and Maynard Drive intersection, the Milam boundary again moves west toward the Natchez Trace Parkway. The westward movement of the Milam boundary again remains south of Bryan and Pemberton Drives until the boundary meets the Natchez Trace Parkway. At the Natchez Trace Parkway the Milam boundary moves north along the Parkway to the intersection of the Natchez Trace Parkway and West Main Street. From the intersection of the Natchez Trace Parkway and West Main Street, the Milam boundary follows Main Street (Highway 6) to County Road 41 and the TPSD western boundary. At County Road 41, the Milam Attendance Zone boundary follows the TPSD western boundary (also the Lee County and Pontotoc County boundary) north to the point where County Road 41 and County Road 1500 intersect.
