Milam Procedures for Arrival / Departure
Arrival procedure for bus riders
- Bus riders should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Bus riders will unload in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- Bus riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for bus riders
- Grade 4,and 5 bus riders will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m.
- Grade 6 bus riders will be dismissed at 3:05 p.m.
- Bus riders will load in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- All bus riders will depart from campus at 3:10 p.m.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely aboard.
Arrival procedure for car riders
- Car riders arriving between 7:00 a.m. and 7:15 a.m. will unload in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- Car riders arriving after 7:15 a.m. who attend school in the Annex will unload on Jefferson Street.
- Car riders arriving after 7:15 a.m. who attend school in the main building will unload on Robbins Street.
- Car riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for car riders
- Grade 4, 5 and 6 car riders will be dismissed at 3:05 p.m.
- Car riders in the Annex will load on Jefferson Street.
- Car riders in the main building will load on Robbins Street.
- Car riders may also load in the Comcast Cable parking lot across the street on North Gloster Street. These car riders will be escorted across the street by a member of the administrative staff, and are generally in the parking lot by 3:15 p.m.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely to the appropriate car.
- Car riders not picked up by 3:30 p.m. should be picked up in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- Car riders going to the Comcast Cable parking lot will be dismissed at 3:10.
Arrival procedure for daycare
- Daycare bus riders should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Daycare bus riders will unload in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- Daycare bus riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.

- Daycare bus riders will be dismissed at 3:10 p.m.
- Daycare bus riders will load in the circle drive on North Gloster Street.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely aboard.
Arrival procedure for walkers
- Walkers arriving before 7:30 a.m. will enter the building through the front entrance on North Gloster Street.
- Walkers arriving after 7:30 a.m. may enter the building through the breezeway entrance on Robbins Street.
- Walkers will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for walkers
- Walkers will be dismissed at 3:02 .m.
- Staff members will monitor students safely off campus.
