The Tupelo Public School District places value and emphasis on the earliest stages of literacy development by providing a high quality Pre-Kindergarten program funded by Title I. The mission of the Early Childhood Education Center is to uphold the Tupelo Public School District mission statement by developing a risk-free and nurturing environment that provides children with a maximum opportunity to learn by providing a developmentally appropriate setting. In an effort to provide children with this environment, our overall goal is to provide an atmosphere of respect where children and adults demonstrate respect for themselves, others, and their properties.
