Local artist William Heard visited Joyner on October 2 -3, 2007. Mr. Heard told of his experiences and showed his talents to every child in school. Each students was able to participate and create their own piece of "William Heard-style" artwork. The students had great time expressing their creative side. They were also able to give a name to their painting. Each artwork was displayed in the halls for the parents to see at Open House.
