

Learning Foundation Scholarship Applications for the spring semester 2009 are due December 1, 2008. The purposes for awarding TPSD Learning Foundation Scholarships are the improvement of instruction in District, to encourage staff members to upgrade qualifications/licenses, and to aid in the retention of quality staff members.
The application can be downloaded at the link below or picked up at the Hancock Leadership Center or by calling
840-1847 or 1848 to have an application sent to your school. Once completed, all applications are to be returned to the Hancock Leadership Center. Each applicant must be improving his/her scope of work or working toward a higher degree.
All employees receiving a scholarship must agree to work with the TPSD for a period of three years after completing their scholarship period. A grade slip, with an A or B, will be required upon completion. These grade slips will be kept on file at the Hancock Leadership Center. Failure to receive such a grade or to fulfill the three years of service to the District will result in a refund to the Learning Foundation.
Each scholarship will be for $500.00 per semester. There is a limit of two scholarships per year for each employee. The method of payment of the scholarship will be by check from the TPSD Learning Foundation to the individual.
