As the culminating activity of a research unit, students dressed up and answered questions as the persons they studied. Among the persons of interests were Abraham Lincoln, Dolly Madison, Oprah Winfrey, Bill Cosby, and George Washington Carver. Students worked very hard learning about the person they chose and writing biographical sketches to recite to their audience.
