Ann Rice, Church Street's Parent of the Year, is also the PTA Boxtops Chairperson. She began leading the program at Church Street when her older children attended Church Street School. This year she has encouraged students to bring boxtops by rewarding them with rubber ducks. Students began collecting them, sharing them, babysitting them, and building houses and towns for them. Champions are now writing "Duck Tales" for publication.
