Carver Procedures for Arrival / Departure
Arrival procedure for bus riders
- Bus riders should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Bus riders will enter the building through the south side bus entrance.
- Bus riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for bus riders
- Bus riders will be dismissed over the intercom beginning at 3:00 p.m. by bus number.
- Bus riders will exit the building through the south side bus exit.
- Assigned staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely aboard.
Arrival procedure for car riders
- Car riders should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Car riders will unload in the circle drive off North Green Street at the main entrance of the school.
- Car riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for car riders
- Car riders will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m. by grade level.
- Car riders will exit the building through the main entrance in front of the school.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely to the appropriate car.
Arrival procedure for daycare
- Daycare bus riders should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Daycare bus riders will unload either at the south side bus entrance or the circle drive off Green Street at main entrance in front of the school depending on the preference of the driver.
- Daycare bus riders will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for daycare
- Daycare bus riders will be dismissed at 3:00 p.m. by daycare name.
- Daycare bus riders will load either at the south side bus exit or the circle drive off Green Street at the main exit in front of the school depending on the preference of the driver.
- Staff members will monitor students to the appropriate loading destination and assist the students safely aboard.
- After 3:20 all remaining daycare bus riders will be called to come to the main entrance of the school.
Arrival procedure for walkers
- Walkers should arrive at school no earlier than 7:15 a.m.
- Walkers are encouraged to walk directly to school.
- A campus security officer and a crossing guard are present to assist students safely across the street in front of the school.
- Walkers will report to the cafeteria for breakfast or to a specified area determined by the school principal.
- Staff members and campus security officers will be on duty to supervise students safely to their proper destination.
Departure procedure for walkers
- Walkers will be dismissed over the intercom after carpool traffic has cleared. Students will exit through the main exit in front of the school.
- Staff members will monitor students safely off campus.
